Exactly how is it done? If I got black armour with codex grey and fortress grey highlighting along the egdes??

Thanks, nice link! But I\'m a supposed to only paint the glaze on the armour and not over the highlights?

the glaze helps to smooth the highlights.
you then tweek the highlights with your last and brightest highlight to make it pop again.

And for black power armour GW black ink will do? Or should I water it out
wether ink or paint, water it down until it has the consistancy of orange juice (i.e. realy thin)

So, I\'ve painted my black templars black, highlighted the egdes with codex grey only, then I heavily watered down some chaos black. I don\'t know the paint to water ratio but something like 1:10. What happened is that the codex grey highlights became much more realistic, not so eye popping, but in some areas where I did highlight with very thin lines of paint the codex grey became very dark, almost not visible from some distance. Is this because I used to thin lines and should go heavy with the highlights? Or because I didn\'t paint fortress grey on there as well? My glaze was thin enough I know that much!
