This was a nice break from painting competition stuff. Just sat down last night and spent an hour on this mini.. Tried some tartan (not done amazingly, because of the time). Really enjoyed painting him. Finished the base this morning..

Funny piece, and well done! I think you could take the highlighting a bit further in the face, to make it more readable and instantly the focus point of the miniature.

Lovely piece. Where did it come from? Tartan is gorgeous. I would concentrate on his face though. Brighten up eyes and add may be a bit more highlighting to accentuate facial expression.

He is from GW, one of the squig herders I think. I will go back and brighten the face up now

I love this little guy. I use him for a musician in all my night goblin units.

Pretty good for an hour for sure. I might aloso go back and tidy up some of the white on the tartan maybe.

Still pretty cool. I love painting that fig!
