not getting a whole lot of feedback in my wip, so i decided to be more forceful.
im having pic problems, as usual.

soooooo....should i try again? the pics seem pretty bad to me, but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to photograph this group. do you prefer the white or black background? the cluster or chorus line?
if i get some feedback soon, i can take and swap in some new photos before the pic is approved, but id like to know if you think its worth the effort.

I think the second picture is leagues better than the first...maybe it's the background (less contrast between the figs and the background), maybe it's the lighting (seems like the second one is better lit, or lit from a better position,) maybe it's the white balance (first one looks a little off)...not sure but all combined it just looks better. Maybe it's my eyes but it does seem the teensiest bit out of focus though. Something's definitely going on when it shrinks it for the gallery though, it looks great when you open the full image but the image as displayed looks blurry or something. Nice paintjob regardless, I much prefer GW's 90's era figures to a lot of the stuff they're putting out today.

hmmm, you know, i think you're right about the focus thing. now that wont do, it wont do at all. sigh. the image compression is nasty (ive never gone over the max for that reason), but i cant see how i can fit these guys in to 600px without loosing all the detail.

Do you have to photograph them as a group? Maybe you could split them up into 2 or 3 groups, or maybe you could photograph the troll by himself. That should allow you to provide bigger pictures with better resolution.

Sorry, I completely missed your WIP.

These dudes are freakin' cool. That troll is awesome.

I've no comments on the photo thing....I'm a complete tool in regards to that sort of stuff. Although, I think photo one is better, so goes to show you what I know.
