Goblins and Orcs

I'm new here and just restarted my painting ventures. I found some very old minis in a dusty box, remembered the good times, bought some paint and brushes and now ... they're all done. So up next I would like to paint some orcs and goblins, because, you know! So I had a look at the minis from GW and they really look the same like in the nineties, and I still do not fancy them. I also found Hasslefree minis, and I ordered an elf and a dwarf there, not sure if i like the orcs. And then there is Reaper, of course and I never painted one of these, so maybe.

So could you recommend some Orc and Goblin minis to me? There is an awful lot of companies out there now, so it's kind of hard for a noob to find his way around.

Thanks!

freebooter minis. you'll love the goblin with the shark strapped to his back.
then there is avatars of war, old confrontation orcs/ goblins to hunt down from ebay, mantic has some (both fantasy, scifi and even football, but I don't like the style), most likely mierce miniatures has some too. etc etc etc

then there are busts, figone's Einstein is the easiest to get a hold of.

and if you get bored of orcs and goblins there is a BIG world out there with uncountable small companies making wonderful minis.

Good pointers - thanks. The Freebooter minis are very nice, but involved. Requires a bit of assembly and I haven't yet tried my hand at pinning.

The Confrontation minis look impressive, I have to look into that.

Nice! But I would rather spent a little less money on my mutilation subjects for now :embarrassed:

I'd also use the minis to play RPGs, so scale should actually be 28-32mm, forgot to mention!
