the painting is real nice of course. I just don\'t understand why no one\'s mentioned the increadibly obvious line left between the parts where the head is attached? For me that\'s a -1 to the vote off the top.

i saw that too, that gap needs to be filled (beforehand).

Base: Jade Green + Hawk Tourquise (50:50), then mixing the base color with Ivory (80:20), (60:40), (80:20) and for the last highlights i mixed white into the color.

Jade Green (GW)
Hawk Tourquise (GW)
Ivory (VMC)

Yeah, they have and it\'s now at 9.4, not 9.8. Putting it where it belongs IMO (which was not the fifth best submission on the site...).

Really nice work except for...

That join at the neck is utterly hideous... why didn\'t you fill it???

Secondly the gold NMM has no shine at all (I\'m assuming it\'s gold and not wood).

I can see it\'s scoring 9.4 but 8.5 top for me :/

The rest is excellent though. The blending is lovely
