Im pretty sure they were meant to be red, as a few pages on you can see them in an army shot with red armour, but they messed the photography up in the tute. It looked more like a flesh colour, which was a bit odd.

Got to check that up (I don\'t have the WD here) Not sure that was the same orks actually. The red from the foundation colour looks more or less like that I think. And even if red can be difficult to photograph they really are professionals and shouldn\'t be able to mess up... ah the GD booklet yeah remember that one. You might have a point!

Plus the colour swatch for Mechrite red looked completely different from the colour which was painted on. They could be different models though, but having Orc\'s in the colour scheme was a bit of a wierd choice IMO.

I still find it appaling that GW wastes so much money to put out so many different editions of their magazine. Why not just create one mag and get it translated. Do a monthly focus on some area of the world (whichever had the last GD maybe) but make it generic.

I have been looking at my U.S. copies again and its the show coverages from around the world and the useful modelling articles that make it more attractive to me .
It also seems to have loads more pages and when they cover one of their shows they include some runners up ( unheard of with the U.K. edition).When will people wake up to the fact that EVERYBODY likes to look at pretty pics of well painted minis!!!! :beer:

Probably at the same time they wake up and realise they should give out more than just 3 awards for each category
