Ok. I am afraid.:(

Is this a case of Canadians coming over the border showing how stupid Americans are? ??? Does anyone remember those shows?

CNNN, the new national news channel. Birdwatcher arrested for storking. I wish I\'d paid attention to that part lol

Still, the people were genuine enough. It\'s time to move back into the caves I reckon, in preparation for the shit that\'s going to go down :(

I just wonder how he had a map that called Australia North Korea and another map that called Australia France.
How did he know which one to show?

Now hold on, just because there are quite a few morons in the world don\'t let the media fool you.
I\'m sure there were quite a few savvy answers that just got cut because they didn\'t fit the spin of the story.
Every time there is a hurricane in Louisiana the media runs for the most ignorant, illiterate, redneck they can find, to get comments from.
Just once I\'d like them to get a normal person, but that wouldn\'t be as entertaining.

It has become a common humor technique in the U.S. to stop people on the streets and ask them questions like this, then broadcast the stupidest of them. There\'s a whole \"game show\" dedicated to it.

I have to admit though, labeling Austalia as all those different countries was brilliant. For the 99 \"what are you trying to pull?\" responses, they got the one \"I didn\'t know North Korea was so much larger than South Korea\" clip. Genius.

hehe

Ebon - the show you speak of is This hour has 22 minutes.

It\'s called \"Speaking to Americans\" i think.

The sad thing of this show, is they did their interviews on campuses like UCLA, Berkeley, MIT, etc.

THe sad part is, ALL students at such schools should know the right answer to the basics they were asked.

That is just sad...

I had my own \'fun\' experience when I was in the states a year and a half ago.

actually

Canada has more oil than Middle east, but it\'s in a harder to get form; mixed with sand/rock, like in south america.

due to the cost, only now companies are doing more work/research to find better ways to get it all :)

we gotta go to electric, hydrogen fuel cell, or something...
