Gold SENMM with light underneath help!!

Hi everyone. I\'m finally trying senmm in gold but was wondering what the earth-side colours would look like if there was a light source from below aswell as above. Basicly I\'m going to paint an Avatar stood on some stones with lava bubbling underneath. Should my earth-side tend to go towards a red/orange hue? rather than a brown Please help :)

Many thanks for everyone who has posted articles by the way. :flip:

hmmm.....

Minding that I can\'t paint NMM yet, I would assume the most realistic wayto do it is to paint the SENMM as normal, but then lightsource it since the reflections of the lava would not just have bright spots on the metal, but would also tone overall a tint of reddish/orange.

Do SENMM, remembering that what it is, is simply a distorted reflection of what is around you. If lava is below, then do the earth part of the SE to, literally, reflect that.
