Gold senmm

Hi its me again.Im forming a bit of a habit here.Any way I just want to know what you think of the gold sky earth on the belt of Boris here.Its my first go at gold sky earth after doing mostly chrome so Im anxious to know what you think.
BTW Ive finally found a mini I can use as an avatar that really does look like me,the face anyway.

One thing...

I think you could soften the striations on the thighs a bit. Great painting though! The mini is not quite my cup of tea, as I\'m detail obsessed

DennisMech,,,,the thighs were a bit of an extperiment with highlighting and they do show up quite stripey.Ill be taking care of them.Also having just finished Celestine I fancied something quite \"plain\" before I started on Azaroth and Ive always liked the look of Boris.
Not in that sort of way mind.

Now I did say the resemblence was from the neck up.Though the bodily weight could be the same (Im 18st) maybe the placing and firmness of the material will be different.

BTW a really fun mini to paint,and with an axe and hammer for weapon choice.Though Im tempted to place something else over his shoulder???
Any ideas???

You could give him a plaid or fur robe thing that he\'s holding over his shoulder, or maybe a small animal/baby as a trophy.

A wench was my first impulse (though Dauber already stole my thunder, as he and I only share one brain)

But, after reading Nelson\'s post, a baby would be hilarious.

Boris trying to \'burp\' the little fellow, looking so pissed off because he has to stay home and Babysit instead of trudging through the dungeon.....

You can\'t tell, but I am laughing out loud...

You can just imagine it, his missus has given some verbals and gone off in a strop shopping with her mother, leaving him with the nappyfiller.
Oh Oh....... just had a thought, the baby\'s dummy (comforter) has to be in the shape of a tiny skull. lol
