Hi guys! GD Uk is looming now and i still havent got any minis painted! Starting on Monday evening i am doing a golden demon week of painting. Basically this week is the only one i\'m going to get to paint as the wife and baby are off vising relatives. (anybody with new born babies will know that you dont get any time for hobbies at all) So every evening this week and all day tuesday and wednesday i shall be toiling away on a minimum of 3 entries. I am hoping to post updates on the forums once in a while so could anybody tell me how to get piccies posted in the forums? This will be my first golden demon and i\'m looking to use the 2 full days off work to full effect. any messages of support and enthusiasm would be greatly appreciated as well as ideas as how to get through those 48 hrs.

It all begins Monday at 17:00 gmt (uk time) and hopefully i will have my entries sorted by late sunday afternoon (when the family comes back)........Wish me luck!

I finally got a chair for my desk. Now to hogtie my husband next to the playpen for a few hours so *I* can do something creative!!

I\'m entering 40k single with the emperors champion that is in my gallery (unpainted, see how much time my little one has eaten up as i\'ve done nothing since then)

Fantasy single with a 40k warboss on the forgeworld epic squiggoth (crazy but it works!)

and lotr single with a legolas. i had more stuff planned but the baby changed all that.

oh and btw can you overdose on pro plus? better check that one out because i\'ll be needing it!

Pro plus are caffeine tabs. Just don\'t make the same mistake as Rimmer in red dwarf and think that dog worming pills do the same thing

good luck! i did the same before games day canada....did nothing but paint for a whole week, and never saw the light of day. must have been the most unhealthiest thing i\'ve ever done because i spent all of games day feeling very very i\'ll:|~

still, all in all, i managed to finish elrohir, the banner and all the bows for my seaguard, the freehand on aenur\'s cloak, and the bases for all five of my entries.

all in all, very productive
i\'m sure it will serve you well too.

I would say go the Redbull route not the pro plus.It will give you less tiredness when theres none left.Get some glucose tablets/sweets.

Ive had little hobby time since my kids arrived.The oldest is now 5.I hope this site is still going when shes 15 and doing her own thing.Might get some decent painting done.???

um...elrohir, a unit of lothern sea guard, aenur sword of twilight and two other entries?


i also painted a unit of nids and a crusader.
all in all though, i\'m still getting over the level of painting that was evident this year.

i\'m still getting over the slayer sword winner, and my personal favourite from this year: Chris Borer\'s dreadnaught that took bronze in the open. the work with his metallics blew me away.

Wrong end of the stick mate.I sort of mean decent time painting minis as opposed to the hour here and there every other few days I get now.Its putting me off at the moment knowing that if I sit down to it Ill be back up soon,which effects my concentration and train off thought for the mini Im painting.

I\'ve got loads of holidays that I could spend on GD entries...............However we\'ve got baby no.2 arriving in November, I\'m fitting a kitchen a new heating system bedroom to decorate oh well there\'s always next year/decade.

I really wanted a trophy this year, but I have to actually finish an entry to be able to even be in with a chance
I would be fine, but I\'ve not had a chance to do anything these last 3 weeks what with running around the UK, even though I had some paints with me.

If you don\'t have time to do something specially, I\'d recommend at least entering some of the stuff you have now. Although that Nurgle terminator is a bit old, I still think the conversion and painting on it is amazing (and I remember it was the first thing you posted WIPs about on joining the forums).

For next year, I was inspired by Vincent\'s 400 hour mini he won with in Canada, and figure what I lack in skills I can make up in diehard dedication and lots of free time
