Golden Demon rules question

Hi, hope all of you had a great x-mas!

I was just browsing through all the fantastic Mordheim and Necromunda figs, and I was wondering; is it ok to use parts from the specialist games range in the fantasy/40k categories at Golden Demon? I can\'t really see why it wouldn\'t be ok, but it\'s best to ask.

So, does anyone know?

(cause, yeah, I have a pretty cool idea for next year...)

Yeah, I belive it used to be squad/ necromunda gang seperate, but you can enter a gang under squad. Pretty much the rules state you have to use GW figures and bitz, or greenstuff for conversions.

Well according to the frencch golden deamon rules I just printed out it\'s ok. But the rules aren\'t the same in each country so you might wanna check what they say for the country in wich you want to enter.

Just about any GW product is fair game in any of the different categories...except LoTR. Avoid those pieces like the plague. I guess it\'s part of their legal stuff, but they don\'t want you mixing LoTR and Warhammer minis.

It\'s usually ok. In fact, last year several pieces won statues even though they contained LOTR pieces combined with WHFB stuff...they just didn\'t get their pics in White Dwarf.

agreed with bushido. as far as i understand, part of gw licensing deal to market the lotr system is that none of their products can ever be mixed with the other gw lines.
as an aside, the gw staff are even instructed that their whfb and 40k models aren\'t even allowed to share the same gaming table inside the stores!

Any idea on whether it\'d be the same for the old Citadel TSR series? Technically they were produced by Games Workshop, but the license has been long lost.

I\'ve got a few duplicates and was considering doing something with those. Mostly I ask out of curiousity since my main entries will likely take all my spare time to complete as it is.

As long as they are \"within the realm of established imagery\" those pieces should be fine. They haven\'t been produced by another company since then, right?

Oh gosh, like... every other company under the sun. I\'m talking about the figures like kobolds, bugbears, mind flayers, beholders, etc... In fact, I was thinking a unit of kobolds completed as night goblins (yes, I really have that many of the old kobolds).

I sort of knew the answer when I asked, but just wanted confirmation. Means I\'ll not even fiddle with it.

i see that tickets are on sale for the first GD but i cant find the rules anywhere!
