Just a reminder about the fun (and somewhat competitive) monthly Golden Toadstool painting contest. This contest, though not having any monthly prize has become quite a difficult event to win. Some of the best painters in the world contribute each month, making it a joy to compete in and just to watch!
The contest has moved from Masterclass Miniature Painters to a much more user-friendly environment hosted jointly by Tony Erdelji (Doc Faust) and Terry Adams at Electric Ocean. The new format is great as all of the albums are located in one spot, comments can be posted directly to each entry, and the write up is added along with the photo. The Masterclass group can still be used for discussing the entries, and I post the winning entry each month on the title page of the group, as always.

The new site has a registration system that is fairly simple though there is sometimes a bug where it appears you are not signed in, but a simple refresh will show that you are. In order to leave comments or vote, or enter, you will need to register.
Entering is fairly simple. Go to the current GT album, and upload a pic! You may add your write up (as per the rules) directly in the Description field. This is easiest to do once you have your picture uploaded, and using your admin options, simply pick your edit option...
Voting also takes place directly at the current album! It is easy and fun, and now you can pick your top 3 entries, as opposed to just one. This is nice to allow for more votes, and choices.
The Fungal Growth award is still awarded each month to a person who\'s entry shows either great improvement or superb composition. So in this respect, the contest is still very much two-tiered.
The entries must be in by midnight (MST) on the 25th, and votingis concluded at approximately 8am (MST) on the first of each month.
