I was wondering if you guys could give me a bit of info on the GT?...I just joined the group, but I\'m kinda confused about the rules and how and where the hell you submit stuff. Sorry guys, I read the rules, I\'m just not sure where to find up to date information on the current contest, etc. (I\'m not very good with the whole yahoo groups e-mail system)

Basically, at this time, you can\'t upload anything. The voting for this month\'s competition is on.

When this month completes, the mod (Zaphod) will create a new folder for the new month\'s entries. I think it will be GT XXIII this time, I might be off on the numbering.

When that\'s done, you can enter your mini. Has to be a mini completed *within that calendar month* and you can only have a maximum of two views of the mini. If you don\'t follow those rules, you will not be included in the voting (see this month\'s entries by Verzani and Holger Schmidt for examples of this rule).

Welcome aboard, Nelson. Your stuff here has been impressive - I\'m sure you\'ll do well in the Toadies. :)

Ahhh, I see.....I was thrown off by all the different folders, and I wasn\'t sure what the current one was, if it was still going, had ended, etc. Thanks though, it makes it a lot simpler if the new folder isn\'t even up yet.

And damn it, Terry, did you read my entire post? Not an entertaining read, I admit, but it is a short one...:D I joined the group, and I read the rules, I\'m just slightly confused by the whole thing, which you should know is a common enough occurence to show some pity. And as I said, I\'m just a simple seal-clubbing farm boy from Canada, so the whole \"forum/e-mail\" thing is kinda confusing.

I am simple, hear me roar!!

Ah Nelson my good man, our common acquaintance has led me to disparage you prematurely.

I of course meant no disrespect when I questioned your wisdom of posting about another list in your trusted home field.

I stand corrected. I mean how bad is it when Darth steps in as the reasonable affable do gooder? lol.

Shite, talk about putting your foot in your mouth, I think I just fit my whole leg in there, especially after whining about Terry not reading my own post carefully...
