Yeah Me too.. Pissing Glass is fun.. you can melt it down and make little mixing bottles out of it for your paints. What dont tell me im the only one here that does that. lol

Well I do happen to have a business lic., I dont know much about how Washinton State does things.. but in Texas Clubs and Orgs can apply for a non-tax lic. if they are doing it for n money gained or if they are doing a community service.

I will look into it.

( On a Side note.. I like peoples Signature blocks.. they tend to be well thought out. If only people put that much effort into the paragraph above. - Like I can run faster scared than you can mad.. that maybe true, but how fast does a .357 bullet travel when launched from a Colt Python .357 magnum? Can you run faster than that? lol I also like D\'s.. Life: a sexually-transmitted disease with 100% fatality. This is so true, it sorta stings.. let us hope that the goverment doesnt try and fix that with a tiny pill. )

Well, the funny thing about my sig is that it was something I heard at my last job when I worked at Wizards. My coworker said that to my boss. Had me in stitches for like 10 minutes because it wasn\'t normally the type of thing he\'d say. So really, no thought on my part. :p

Honestly, not too sure about the non-profit or business license thing. I\'m in a 501(c)3, but that\'s pretty different. We may still pay tax, for all I know, but then get reimbursed when we file. Washington also seems to like to tax the holy bejeebus out of everything (and it\'s just going to go up! whee! almost time to quit smoking!) since we don\'t have state income tax.

No I like it.. dont get me wrong there.. being from Texas I had to tossa gun comment into the fray.. lol.

Yeah, I hear ya on the taxes man.. I was just reading that Washinton is trying to pass a bill that will tax a person on each mile they drive. I understand they are going to use some sorta GPS thing or something..

Valander reinforced the \"rumor\" today. ^_^ I may not actually attend the convention, per se (trying to cut down on expenses), but I may be up for dragging some things down and hanging out and painting!

MIC,
Looks cool, I like the prize mini!
maybe I should try to enter, I would be a shoe in for the ugliest mini! :D I would be sure to win!

If I may ask, are you currently living in Tx. and plannning to move to Wa?
Just curious, I lived in Houston for a couple a years before moving back here to Wa.
Have a great day, and looks like a cool contest!

Yes I am currently in EL Paso, Mexico.. err Texas. I have been coming upto Seattle to attend the DragonFlight CON for a couple years now. I once was on my way to Seattle but only made it to Boise Idaho. Not a bad place, but it sorta was too small and I farted and was asked to leave. So I came back to El Paso TX, and have been trying to get out of here ever since. I hope this is the chance I need to get out of Texas and El Paso once and for all.

As for the Miniature, Thanks I owe it all to Tony ( the Sculptor ) and I now have a Casting house set up to cast 2 dozen of them for me. I hope people that enter like the idea of a Miniature Trophie as a Prize.. I plan on doing this each year, and each yeah having a new miniature done.. maybe sometime they will start to offer to sculpt it instead of me seeking out the artist..

Dude, a limited edition miniature as a prize for painting competitions is pretty much a perfect idea. Pretty much everyone that paints has figmentia, and will jump at the chance to add some rare thing into their stacks of unpainted lead. ;)

@ Gin - Yeah! Come to the Con and enter! It would be a great chance to meet you, if I can make it out as well.

@ Anthony - Hey man! Long time no hear from ya! How\'s the new job going? What is it again? And I agree, unique minis are a fun way of motiviating us miniature frea...I mean...enthusiasts.

@ MIC - Yeah...if you can build up the contest each year, it\'s not like we don\'t have a few sculptors available up in the Seattle area. :D

Aloha! (yes, I\'m trying to get mileage out of the fact I\'m on vacation :bouncy: )
