For those of you who went to the Painting Masterclass I went on to complete the rest of the model for all you guys to see examples of how to use all the NMM ideas. I deliberately kept the blend rough so you can see clearly the colour stages i used.

So gutted I missed day. To top it all off found out on the Friday; after already having given away my ticket, that her hospital appointment was the week after...........

Base = Snakebite leather. highlight = bleached bone, white. Shade = dark flesh, black. Glaze = yellow. Final highs = white

including swithching to the new equivalents.


Base coat (Snakebite) = mournfang, Balor Browns mix.

highlight (1 snakebite, 1 bleached mix) = Balor brown.
highlight 2 (1 snakebite, 2 bleached) = Balor, ushabti bone mix.
highlight 3 (bone) = Bone

Glaze, any solid yellow will do

Shade (dark flesh) = mournfang
shade 2 (dark, black mix) = Mournfang, black mix
shade 3 black

Tint purple wash.

Final highlights = and white will do.
