Things to consider.

Travel costs - this will be petrol/car hire unless there is a way of guaranteeing equipment is available at the venue. paints, brushes, pallets models, water cups etc etc
Equipment -Models, paints, brushes, pallets models, water cups etc etc
accommodation - Manchester is 6 hours away approx, so doing it all in one day is daft.
venue - needs to be hobby minded and prepared to receive lots of painters getting giddy with paint.
food and drink - it's essential for our survival
Paying painters for their efforts - Wage representative of 35+ yrs old professionals who are already very busy.

Having Considered these things then you can start to consider the next step.
