where? cornwall? ;)

eh what ? Cornish accents are awful . My hometown is Windsor old chap where we speak the Queens English, thankfully I never picked up the cornish accent when we moved down here lol.

I like the women in the southern states of USA - when they say Y'All especially. Call me strange but I like it.

We are delighted to add Dave Nield to our list of tutors for Daemon Day

Not only a prolific painter for Golem, Dave has also won 4 Golden Demon Awards himself - including Gold in both 40k Single Miniature and Fantasy Single Miniature!

We are delighted to (probably unsurprisingly) add Ali McVey to our list of tutors for Daemon Day 2011.

Widely recognised as one of the best in the world, we are very excited to have Ali joining us.

We hope to add more tutors in the future, but now it becomes dependant on ticket sales on how many extra we need/can afford - so get buying those tickets so we can make this event even bigger!

Looks like it was great day of painting! Wish there was one of those close to me on this side o the pond. From what I can see of the pics, I'd say my favorite......was the redhead! :):):)

A quick review from one of our attendees from over seas (norway)

Thank you very much for the day guys, it was very nice to meet four very top class mini painters, (who also happen to be friendly, approachable people, who seem to honestly love talking about painting), the maelstrom venue was fine and personally I came away with exactly what I hoped for.

Get feedback on the mini I brought, advice regarding what I was working on, a demonstration of the techniques I felt I needed, and an opportunity to practice these techniques with one-on-one step by step guidance whilst referring to the tutors top quality completed examples was exactly what I wanted to do on the day and this is what I got. The highest quality and authority of tuition was always beyond doubt and that really made the day.

I'm not surprised that the first two questions at the end were "when's the next one?" and "why not have two days?"

Thanks again - it's really appreciated and well done on a great day.

:)

ps: guys, your work is just awesome, it's great to see it up close, photo's don't do it justice.
