Good Eldar Scheme?

What do you think? Trying to make up a new Eldar scheme using some pretty bold colours (in typical Eldar fashion);

Yeah I was aiming for something Saim-Hann-ish.. I\'ll give it a shot on a Guardian or maybe a swooping Hawk and post :)

I\'d not use green for the sash, but something more in line with your colour scheme, perhaps bright purple if you want contrast. On the table, green against red comes across to the viewers eye as brownish, especially when seen from a few feet away. Just a comment, not a critique.

Do NOT mix red and green on a model, especially if there\'s white involved. Fire Dragons are probably the only models where red and green can work together. Don\'t ask why, but Fire Dragons tend to be immune to the Christmas look most minis get when you mix red and green.

Sorry, I don\'t know why but even well painted models that mix red and green drive me bonkers. Commander Y\'s tau are a good example... very well done but I can\'t stand the color scheme. Tom Schadle! That\'s his real name... took me a while ;)

Here is the scheme I came up with.
I like it, it has both light and dark features as well as warm and cool.

For the record, I was inspired by the Seattle Seahawks -Greenbay Game.

The green is a mix of Scaly Green and Dark angles green with a little bit of black added in. The color is then highlighted by adding a soft white, Americana Buttermilk to the initial color. The closest thing in GW terms would be bone white with a tiny touch of Bad moon yellow.

No one will think it looks like anything currently existing. And sadly there are so many variations of red and black for eldar it has become somewhat cliche. But if you like red & Black, then by all means ignore everything I have written :)

Hope it helps, one way or another
