Good examples of lettering on parchment please (minis!)

I\'m about to do this for the first time on a mini scale and I\'d like to see some gooder examples for inspiration in how to tackle the lettering. So anyone got any favs they\'d like to share?

Here\'s a few examples of how I\'m starting to do mine. More fields of gray with some horizontal motion. I have found that making the areas of lettering gray instead of black gives them a less heavy handed look.

Check through script (hand written style) fonts and the gothic style ones.
You could also have a look through the serif sections for a plainer (well not really plainer...less elaborate) type face.

Thanks for that example Bill, I\'m hoping more for something like a page from a manuscript, maybe with an illuminated initial (not sure what I want to do yet)?

I don\'t know mini ranges that well so this is not something you can search for.

Actually Matt I\'m a trained typesetter But this scale is far too small to try to represent actual letters, that\'s why I was looking for inspiration pics on how people have tackled this kind of thing on a kickass paintjob.
