my friend and future brother-in-law caught a bullet in his back yesterday in iraq. he\'ll be ok, but ramadi is a crazy place and he\'ll be back on that hummer inside of three weeks. a lil\' good mojo is always nice when you\'re in some sh!t - so this is an appeal to reflect on our countries sons and daughters overseas.

Hopefully the sneaky little shit who shot him will be meeting his 72 virgins very soon  Its one thing to shoot a man, but to shoot him in the back?

Tell him that contrary to what the news lopsidedly reports there are ALOT of us that support him AND what he\'s doing there. Even here in the San Francisco bay area there is a huge amount of support that is simply ignored by the media. I wish him the best in recovery and best of luck in his mission. Thank him from me for doing what he\'s doing.

I suggest any one wishing to make comments on the war do so elsewhere. Good luck to him in his recovery. May it be quick, complete and the worst thing that happens to him.

I don\'t always agree with you Mr. Ploddy, but you have nailed this one perfectly! Well said!

Heres to seeing funnymouths friend home safe and healthy, with stories to tell his future grandchildren.

All too sadly part of the job, you take it on when you sign the line.

He\'s to a fast recovery and all the boys and girls getting home safely

Anyone willing to put their lives on the line for others deserve our respect and admiration. I hope the recovery goes well and that he\'ll soon be reunited safely with his loved ones back home.

\"So raise your glasses, heres a toast to wasted lives
May all their ghosts come back to haunt you
And tell you how they died

How do you sleep?
How do you last the night and keep the dogs at bay?
How do you feel when you close your eyes, and try and drift away?
Does it feel any better now?
Does it mean any more when the angel of death comes knock, knocking,
And banging at your door?\"

@funnymouth - I\'ll keep your friend/in-law in my thoughts and prayers. He\'s already been incredibly lucky just being around to get to recover. We\'ll hope his luck holds.
