The post was not directed at you, and I\'m sorry I did cause offence. I never intended to come across as obnoxious or unpleasant on these forums, and I would also kick someone across the room if they spoke to me like that, so I apologise. I shall also apologise to anyone (everyone) who has ever found me an irritating little shit who dampens their enjoyment of the forums.
I will not consider your post a life lesson, because I very rarely flip out like that. In real life, probably never. The whole tongue-in-cheek thing is very confusing for me when presented through text rather than direct communication and has probably caused some problems... From a short time in, I have never felt like I was worth anything on CMoN, and I appear just to be an irritating deterrent who everyone puts up with. As I said, I don\'t enjoy being an anti-hero and have tried to behave myself as best I can after everything that should have taught me a lesson, but evidently didn\'t. Maybe you are right, you shouldn\'t have treated me/us like adult/adults, because plainly I/we am/are not. Maybe I am too babyish and immature for CMoN - it wasn\'t designed for 13 year olds after all - or maybe CMoN is simply not the place for me.

Sorry, mate, but from Cape Town, you\'re more likely to get hairdressers, fashion designers and interior designers.Originally posted by DrEvilmonki

Some of that is just plain bullocks! You have plenty of worth here on CMoN, so don\'t sell yourself short on that respect. You are a very talented painter, and have amazing insight into this hobby.
I\'ve flipped out like that in real life before, and have always regretted it. I rarely get out of sorts here on the forums but there are plenty of times when I try to put on my \'moderator\' hat and I feel I am ignored or mocked because of my normal jovial nature. I bring that on myself though, as I am sometimes unclear in my posts that I am serious (because I really rarely am).
I let my anger get the best of me, and even thought about deleting my little tirade last night...
The one thing about you on the forums I have noticed is the seemingly split personalities....At times the banter back and forth seems harmless, but then I will see a post from you protesting against it. Add that to what you say about TEXT being harder to decifer, and I think that sets up alot of unnecessary drama.
I suppose if CMoN is like an extented family, unfortunately you are viewed as the younger brother...one who gets picked on and teased. I would wear it like a badge of honor, but I understand how it may become tiring. The family analogy has been used several times in the past....how do you think I feel always getting the role of the creepy uncle?
Anyhow...I accept your apology and offer one of my own. I don\'t mean to come down so hard on you (or anyone for that matter) but something in the tone of that post made me snap a bit. I enjoy having you as a participant here, and hope it will continue.
