Well this mini is showing it\'s age, from my painting point of view, but I\'ve been meaning to post it for about 6 months, simply because he won best of class at the Medway Modelling Club Show

Nice job on the beastman. Nothing to fancy, just solid work. I think you could have blended the difference in tones more, between the base and highlights on the skin. You could also add some definition to the axe with some lining around the details. It\'s a good idea to use paint instead of inks as it makes you able to control the light more. That goes with the rust effects too that I find a bit too shiny, at least to my eyes. Good job and a nice big picture of it too!

it was modelling show, with a strong leaning towards the military side. With a couple of catagories for Fantasy & Sci-fi minis

I like the contrast between the reds and the greens.The base would need some work , but a 7 from me.

Thanks, he was really only a gaming piece, hence the simple base, and he is about 10 yrs old, thats why I was quite happy about him winning his class
