A very nicely painted model. Superb colours and nice weathering on the red armour. Cant really find anything to fault at all.

I\'m not happy, but I,m sure it just me being a KNOB!

I have some critisism... I don\'t think that the blended check pattern on the inside of his cloak is a bit unsuited for one of the greatest warlords of all times... I just think it make him look a bit... pancy-ass.. note just that part on the mini... the rest makes him look totally BAD-ASS!!!

// Larre

PS: the checks are very well done, so don\'t get me wrong

Oh 6.7, thats way to low! :flame:

For me it´s definitely a strong 9. Everything looks great, love the armor and the skin. But the three highest pictures on the whole model is pretty dark and don´t do this mini justice at all, while the detailed shots really shows how well painted he is. That´s maybe the reason why it got so low rating atm.

Very nice mini anyway!

Yes, do a \"save for the web\" from p-shop and set it to save at about 400 pixels wide (600 is the max, but that does not seem to work well for me), not to exceed the maximum size (100k per the FAQ)

max size is 200k nowadays :D

i wouldn\'t worry about scores tommie, i struggle to get out of the 6\'s nowdays.
if it gives people a big chubbie by giving shitty scores scores to any one other than those to whome their lips are attached in a barnacle fashion then so be it.

seriously mate, it\'s just a score on a website.
(saying that, it took me some time to grow thick enough skin to be able to ignore it)

Very nice work here. I really like the glazed colours in the armour and the battle scarred armour is very well done... The colour choices are well thought out too. All in all a class piece.

re your score... I agree, it\'s f*****g ridiculously low ( I also think the higher scoring submission is too low as well).

I had this with my last couple of submissions too. I just deleted the images. In reality, no skin off my nose and no more \'fun\' for the sad feckers who find glee in it. There\'s plenty of other places to show your work.

i also agree the scores are too low for me, its 8.5 in my book, some of my scores have been funny lately but hey who cares!! the people that matter can appeciate the quality in your work

It\'s a whole 2 points difference between the average and registered average. I think it\'s best to not worry about the scores, as making a fuss over them will probably only give the snipers some satisfaction in their silly games. The important things are, that you are happy with it, then the comments by the people who\'s opinions you trust to be fair and some way further down are the scores. Yes, I know I\'ve yet to submit anything so it\'s all theory for me at the moment.

could be worst
(i got a 4 cause of a fluffy tree)
yeah its just a score (still hurts when i sleep thoughlol)
the metalics are spot on
and let the mini speak for itself
if you want to sell it. ppl can tell the difference. good luck

id prob say 8.4-8.6, i agree with the inside of the cloak, its an odd colour combination, very very nice mini though, when did u get it finished?

with regards to the pics, first of all, u need to upload pics on to a diff site like photobucket or tinypic.com (it sez theirs a limit on file size but i upload huge pics all the time) that way, u wont have ur stuff resized to be stupidly small (400px isnt big enough to do justice to the stuff u paint), also, save ur files as .tif, not jpeg, the file size will be bigger, but they will be of higher quality

secondly, u either need to use the macro settin on ur camera more, or use the optical zoom (not the digital) to get closer in on ur minis. if ur still strugglin to get detailed pics then u might want to borrow a higher quality camera. (more mega pixels = more detail)
the sheen on the last pics uv taken arnt a result of over exposure, its a result of having ur strip lamp too close to the mini without having someway to diffuse the light, hence ur gettin alot of the light bouncing back from the high areas. u either need to grab urself a light cube/tent and another light with the same temp bulb, or u need to tape a thin peice of paper over the lamp to diffuse the light so it falls evenly over ur mini.
OR \'borrow\' Mr. Poleaxe\'s setup for a few hrs :D

hope this helps

*edit*

am liking the new pics, lots bigger!

id have to see this in person to give u some fair feedback, but personally id like to see a tad more contrast in the browns and blacks on the mini and a tad more detail on the base, if ur garden supply can stretch to cover that lol, and i think u might have made a mistake on the left side horn, their seems to be a brown dash on the tip...
having said that, am loving the snout and the ears, metallics are great and am loving the wood...
