as long as the realy good shots are on the ebay auction you will be fine mate.
no need to keep reposting the pics on cmon as that annoys people.

don\'t mention brown lines mate as i just remembered that story and can\'t stop laughing lol

Great bit of painting.
Nothing spectacular just really solid stuff.
A mid 8 from more.
REf scores, they never make sense to me, this site is summed up perfectly by mr poleaxe earlier \"i wouldn\'t worry about scores tommie, i struggle to get out of the 6\'s nowdays.
if it gives people a big chubbie by giving shitty scores scores to any one other than those to whome their lips are attached in a barnacle fashion then so be it.\"

That is exactly how the scoring appears most of the time on this site..... unless you are polish. :)
Great Job.

Fantastic stuff, I must get rouind to painting this one up myself!

Solid paintwork, and a 9 from me, the only thing I don\'t \'get\' though is what are the turquoise checks on the inside of the cape? They look intentional but just seem out of place IMHO.

This mini has been sniped....
One submission is rating 6.4, the other 6.2...

Just have a look on usually minis rating between 6.0 and 6.5, there is a strong difference...

Maybe you should repost it without speeking of it in forums, it can protect you from snipers...

Cheers

I\'M NOT BOTHERED ABOUT MY RATING.:cussing:

I put a lot of effort (2 evenings, which is now 3 and soon to be 4) in to producing good images for you all to enjoy, learn from and then hopefully find a good owner.
that is what i\'m bothered about. can any body help me with this, any info would be cool.

p.s I DON\'T CARE ABOUT MY RATING!!!!!

I\'m not sure why being bothered about your scores or rating etc. is seen as a negative. It is a mini rating site afterall. Scoring higher on a mini can be really satisfying... it can also vindicate the hours you spent painting the damned thing in the first place. Imagine that you\'ve been painting 6s-7s and then suddenly break into the 8s... cool! Being (genuinely) rated by your peers is a great way of progressing and improving too... there\'s nothing like a bit of competitiveness to push you forward. Incidentally that wasn\'t directed at you TS. I was just posting a generalisation.

I don\'t see anything wrong with your images TS, they are crisp, in focus and well lit.

Yeah... the images in your gallery aren\'t so good. They\'ve been compressed presumably. What is the image size that you are trying to post there?

If it is that the gallery is compressing the images, why not get rid of the close-up backshot... I don\'t think you need it, it\'s not helping the overall submission and like most large close-ups - they are rarely flattering :D You could maybe lose one of the duplicated side-shots too.

*edit - I just noticed that you are hosting them elsewhere. In which case, check your image width (if it\'s the last set you\'ve posted on page one of this thread - they are 800 pixels wide) - The gallery will shrink it if it\'s over 600 pixels wide, and it would explain the loss of quality. You\'re better off reducing them yourself to the correct size.
