How much do you thin your paints?
What is your goal in painting......competition level or solid gaming pieces?
to me, the paintjobs seem rushed, and simplistic - nothing wrong with that at all, but understanding where you want to go will help us give useful advice.
One thing that will help would be to do some lining between the colours to help define and seperate them. A very dark brown or black, applied with a decent brush with a good point would do the trick.
If you\'re going to highlight, you\'ll need much thinner paints and apply them carefully; paint dilution could be anything from water

aint 4:1 to 20:1 we all have our preferences. This is really thin: \"the consistency of milk\" is one way people describe it, \"dirty water\" another. This will take time!!! Be prepared to invest time if you want to improve!
BTW, how old are you? As you said you borrowed the camera from school.......
