A while back there was a thread that was about who had voted on every mini on this site.

Vince, I think you were one who had done it. Is there anyone else who has voted on EVERY mini here? (as of today)

What happens when you browse randomly after that - does it bring up nothing or does it bring up minis you\'ve already voted on.

At the time I think I had 5000 or so voted on - I\'ve doubled that now but I CANNOT seem to both judge fair and catch up . . .

Nor can I find the original thread that dealt with this subject ...

Chern am I right - the rate of submission has quadrupled lately?

It\'s all good . . . no complaints

I actually was caught up at one point, and would look longingly at the figures hoping for something new - but now I\'m about 3000 down so its going to take a while since I now as much time on the forums as I do rating minislol

I was caught up until I went to Gencon, so now I am four days and 380 minis or so behind. I\'ll catch up soon enough though :)

Once you vote on them all, you start getting repeats, and there\'s a thing that says something like Your average vote in red in the upper left corner (well on the old front page, don\'t know what it looks like with the new, since it must have taken effect after Wednesday which was the last time I was here).

Its no big deal really - I spend 10 hrs a day 4 days a week in front of a computer doing tech support and you can only say the same thing to those who are computer/cell phone illiterate so many times before you either loose it or start talking to yourself, so I surf the site from work as a defense to my sanity. I try to do 100-150 a day just to keep up with the site.

Anyone else find that their vote isn\'t registered if it\'s really old? I swear I remember voting on some minis and then they come up agian and say I haven\'t voted on them.... My smal total stays the same, though. Strange to me.

Don\'t think I\'ll ever get them all

I have gone through and voted on every mini in particular categories such as Grenadier, Reaper, Ral Partha and CMoN. It then just shows you mini\'s you\'ve voted on which you can vote on again to change your average vote. If you want to give someone a 7.5 you can give them a 7 and an 8.

Chrispy - yeah that does seem to be a symptom of something eh??

The other day (and I think I\'ve noticed this at other times too) I logged out and it said I had voted on 13000 minis. When I come back later (a few hours or so) it will say I\'ve voted on 12989. I\'m not sure why some get thrown out - I don\'t vote 1\'s and 2s but often times a string of 5\'s will come out ...

???

Your own votes don\'t get thrown out, but miniatures get deleted from the database on a regular basis, either by their submitters or by the server when there are broken links.

That\'s why, though our image ids are well in the 20k range, the total number of pictures in the gallery is around 18k.

Almost...

I was up to date as of yesterday afternoon. Now I\'m 69 short of voting on all of them.

My situation is very similar to Steelcults. Ah, the joys of being tech support:):(

Anyway, I should be up to date by the end of today. Oh, and KatieG, the new layout still shows your average score for that mini the same as it did before.

As much as I\'d like to say I had voted on all the minis, it wasn\'t me.

There was a point where I had voted on all the minis from every manufacturer BUT GW. (and a lot of those)
That had me I think around 2/3 of the minis.

Then my job ended and I no longer could sit in my office at lunch with an awesome connection. My home connection sucks and I\'m at school only a couple days per week over the summer so my voting has stagnated.

I remember reading the previous thread and I am pretty sure it was Lurch who had managed to vote on all, or almost all of the minis:flip:
