Next challenge accomplished: The wing... it took me a while to have the colors looking like I was thinking about it. Now I'm happy... The brown/yellow ties to the red of the skin.
@Fox: Many thanks for your hint regarding the mold line... it is removed.
Thanks for your feedback. I won't be able to finish it prior to my summer holidays, but... as you guys told me several times... take your time... so I won't rush through the finalization.
Will post you the result in the 2nd half of July
The job is done!
And it was really fun to paint that beast.
Thanks again for the valuable hint of fox regarding the tutorial. I never thought about checking on youtube, if there could be a tutorial.
So I picked some new ideas and included those into my techniques.
As Marcus stated in his WIP - there are many other minis waiting for some love... Today I released the green knight I bought on eBay from the Acetone bath.
Raw materials to be posted soon - that's going to be the next.
Many thanks for the feedback guys. Indeed I'm proud of it. Nevertheless I've unfortunately not reached my goal to make it to the remarkables section,
even if I thought this could be a solid 8.
So after the project is before the project... here comes the next challenge... the for me not so green knight.
He will be heading my blood knights unit. View attachment 67862View attachment 67863
Colour scheme: Red/purple
Look bud keep on going there’s a tone of solid 8 and above models that don’t have the same reflector in the scoring. And then there’s a ton of nonsense that scores 9 or even 10s . Just keep on painting and you’ll breakthrough Mateu. Your work is very good. Hang in there.
