I was very impressed of the unit Arkaan did... felt like a little school boy with my work, once I saw his ;-)
So I'd say... top work coming from Arkaan, standard coming from my end. But now I'm motivated to go into
this direction... training training training... that's it. Motivation is high.

YEAH! That's the spirit! :)

To the minis. Like the choice of colors. Was thinking around my self how to takle the tunics, light on the top and draker to the ground ? or the other way around? Your and Arkaans version settled it for me, dark above and lighter to the ground looks best :)
Really like the OSL on the candles! You nailed it there and effect works. Only "big nono" I could find is that you overpainted some of the violet on the candle holder stick below the hand but that should be easily fixable.

But all in all you're on the right track. Practice makes perfect and tidiness comes over time. A lot of painting is muscle memory which builds up over time. Looking foward to your next project, keep it up :)

Thanks man! Good catch on the candle holder - will fix this!
I'm struggling with the shortcut OSL regarding the candles. Most probably you mean the flame effect?
But what in detail does OSL stand for?

Next project Reikenor... just opened the box...

Yep, OSL is short for Object Source Lightning. So objects that emmit light like flames, lamps, glowing stuff ... at least that's how I understand the term OSL lol ^^

The color shifts are as creepy as the actual model!!! Great job getting this result on a model that screams for this result.

What was your favorite part of painting this model?
What was the most frustrating part of painting this model?

To your questions: The favorite part was to put the basic layers onto it... seeing that the transition from purple via grey to green worked out was a cuddle of joy.
Most frustrating was, that my diluted yellow had too much water, therefore it took me a couple of tries to get it into the correct consistency to cover the green.
If I had a 2nd try on this one I'd search for an alternate option to do fine-lining on the wings (I did it with diluted purple/grey/green).

What‘s next? Prior to work on Zarbag or further Nighthaunt
my son was reminding me, that two Vargheists still need to
be finished. So I started this afternoon the Vargheist challenge.
The obe on the left will soon have some buddies ;)
