Do those count for grey skin????
Give the man those grey skin recipes!

OH and PS - I would say, left most is codex grey highlighting with white added. Middle is half codex half shadow grey, mixed with added white. Final guy is idk, ghostly grey and fortress grey, and lots more white than the others.

i\'d say use skin tones but add a little grey
Or said otherwise, greyish skin. Well done
Or if you want a grey skin, simplest formula would be mixing any grey, with any lighter
grey or white. They\'re all good for something, and which grey you use will
affect the final grey, for instance, a dark grey
for basecoat will give you... a darker grey :duh:
My word is, find it out for yourself and post pics asking. Do this look like a good greyish skin ? or What can I do to improve this here greyish skin ?
Then people will answer: \" More layers, thinner paint.\", so you can just skip to the practice, practice, practice part.
Poeple\'s recipe are a good source of inspiration, but in the end, you\'re on your own with that mini, and recipes alone won\'t mean you\'ll get it right.

Grey is a hard colour to mix due to it being made up of lots of different colours. Alot of greys have a blue or green tint.
To darken (or lighten) grey you would have to add lots of different colours and get the pigmentation perfect.
Plus the eye picks up monotones more so greys are alot harder to smoothly blend.
When i paint greys i always paint them with an intentional blue tint. Greatcoat Grey, a P3 paint, can be manipulated into almost any shade of blue depending on the colour of the paint you mix in. Mix in an Ivory or off white, and you get a briliant sky blue, mix in a purple and you get a deep shade of blue, but they all keep certain grey properties in colour.
The best thing to do if you don\'t want to mix, and just want to paint greys, is get a range of the colour from dark to light, eliminating the need to mix. Or feather the highlights, which will also eliminate the need to mix.

I would paint it in a quite monochromatic way, but use VMC Ivory to highlight it instead of white.
Pick a nice medium tone grey and use black to shade it and VMC Ivory to highlight it (mix white with bleached bone if you don\'t have it).
Then, when everything\'s done I would glaze it with brown. Use Bestial Brown or similar and glaze it very thinly over the grey.
Afterwards, you may have to re-touch the highlights (you can use glazes here as well).
