yet another \"mini\" has escaped from my painting table..this is the big 80mm andrea \"volgor skull hunter\" . i have to say i really like the andrea figures the cleaness of the casts is something to behold..if you dont mind having a look heres the link to the big lad VOLGOR IS HERE

Well executed, great colour choices. The metals in particlular are very nice. What do you use for your verdigris (Although I have a feeling its called something else depending on the metal)?

Brilliant Tom, you are just getting better and better. I have yet to get these minis though they are on my wish list. Been and voted oh yes and I need to ask you about some more brushes :D

Real nice work on him, your metallics stand out at particularly well done. However my eye keeps getting drawn to those horns on his helmet which seem too stark white, a little something to tone it down or add something to break up the white would add a lot to the overall composition of the piece I think.

Solid 9 though from me.

That\'s a beauty. Very good metals.

Still think this chap looked better naked, but you\'ve gone a long way to help me part with some cash on this one

Fantastic Work!! I wish I wouldn\'t have looked at this thread though... I am not a fan of gthe back shot. That Fur just doesn\'t do it for me. I\'d probably give the front shot a 10 and the back shot an 8. But then... I already voted and gave you a 10 sooo... Lucky you.:p

Thanks very much for the encouraging comments especialy off some of the painters i look up to ...glad you all like most of him ...it gives me the kick up the ass i need to keep pushing myself....cheers n beers.

answers to above questions:
1. i bought him from historex agents
2. the verdi wotsits is jade green
3. drop me a pm tim if you need a brush top up.

Amazing! So much character!

(I just about wet myself before I read that he is 80mm, thinking he was 28mm.... you got downgraded from \"pants wetting\" to merely \"amazing\" :p )

I\'ve got this model and its really nice to see him painted up. Well done, it\'s a nice job :D

One thing that bugs me about the model, is I think his torso is too long. Something about that huge wide belt which does nothing to help your eyes get the proportions right.

I\'ve also got the Elf..... *sigh* so much painting (as usual) :rolleyes:
