Not sure where else to put this post so....


I went to court again, since April I\'ve been fighting to be able to see my two daughters again.
Long story short:
She paid for a lawyer to try and keep me from getting the visitation she had been giving (one weekend every other month or so) and ended up having to give me every other weekend, alternating holidays, and two weeks (consecutive if I want even!) during the summer.
She made a complete idiot of herself, AND made her lawyer look bad, because she started arguing with the judge!

Ah, justice is sweet, and in 2 days We\'ll be spending the first of our new weekend visitations.

Just wanted to share, sorry I have been absent, now you have a clue as to why...

Good for you, mate! But now you gotta keep focused on what\'s important - your kids. They\'ve suffered enough, methinks. Maybe it\'s time for daddy to make it up to them with a big sundae and some ... tiny, metal toys :)? Y\'know, like the ones that daddy love to paint and play with? Just so they can be a bit more like daddy :)?

AMAZING.....a male actually get\'s a judgement in his favor in a custody hearing. Shocking! Good to hear.

Have a wonderful time and keep the fire and brimstone between you and the missus. The kid\'s need daddy.

I generally leave the disagreements at her doorstep.
I just don\'t care enough to cause her trouble.
She spits venom at them about me, and they ask me questions.
I answer as honesty as possible, but when it comes to her opinions and animosity, I tell them that I\'m not her, and I can\'t speak for her, they have to make up their own minds.
I figure they\'ll figure it out in their own time, and I\'d rather they came to their own conclusions about her maturity.
She likes to pretend that she\'s a saint and that she never did anything wrong, I tell them the truth, and try to keep it factual, not emotional.
Just like I told them that if \"Mommy\" tried to keep them from me, I\'d end up with more time with them, and lookie, lookie, Daddy doesn\'t lie.

You do know we\'re just stringing you along, right?

I mean, once you\'re fattened up enough, it\'s on to the spit you go! You\'ll be dizzy from the rotations and smoke inhalations, but if you just let the hooks do their job, it\'ll all be better soon! Promise!

Oh, and congrats BTW. Just heard today of a friend of a friend getting the Big D. She\'s going to head back overseas with the two little ones, and the father doesn\'t really seem to care. Feel bad about the whole situation, but not a lot I can do.

That is EXACTLY the right way to go. In the end they will grow up and they WILL judge the both of you and how you behaved during this time.

Give her the shovel, she will dig the hole.

Actually the phrase we use is give her enough rope...which seems to encourage her as well.
When will selfish people learn.
Oh well, it\'s her relationship that she\'s hurting, me and my girls are doing great this weekend!

Going for a family bike ride by the river tomorrow after church.
Going to Catholic Sunday Mass at the request of my oldest daughter. She found out that I was formerly in seminary, and left the church, she wants to try and bring me back, I think a Sunday of Kneeling, sitting, standing, and 2 1/2 hours of incense and old lady perfume and she\'ll change her mind, but at least we\'ll have fun in the afternoon!

I have friends who have kids and basically should not when ir ead something like this it makes me happy but on the other hand sad that some idiots are able to have children, fathering a child is a seperate things which you are obviously doing.

Well done and have fun.

I had the nieces for the weekend and im still knackerd.

Although the orc loota the 4yr old painted 90% Turquoise is still awesome i think :D
