You need to light your minis from the front not above when photoing them, show of you paint job, don,t hide true colours in shadows, and on the opposite aspect, turn down the exposure on your camera very slightly so you don't wash out your true colours.
as far as the paint job goes, as i said with your other post, deeper colours to better define his aspects.
plus look at the finish of how you attatch your scene to the plinth and join the ground to the 'wall' and write here what you think.

These are the first miniatures I tried to paint and hope to gain more technical with the experience. The next one is in the "oven" and hope to show it soon.
