Green Stuff

I have a feeling that this might be an old question, so sorry if I\'m bringing it up again.

When mixing green stuff, what happens if you put in more yellow or more blue?

more yellow makes it softer after curing, ideal for sculpting faces, cloaks, etc...

more blue yeilds harder after curing, good for making hard edges like guns, weapon blades, etc...

You can get away with quite a bit of variation in proportions with Kneadatite and it will still set properly. In addition to the softness issues as mentioned by Matt it is slightly stickier with more yellow, less so (but still sticks where you want it) with more blue in the mix.

Now that it is sold is separate blocks instead of just as a ribbon I\'ve had a chance to use the putty dead fresh and it makes less of a difference - it\'s when it has aged a bit that the blue begins to stiffen up noticeably.

You\'ll also get a small difference in working time with less hardener in the mix but overall I would add something else to extend the working time rather than playing with resin/hardener proportions.
