So a general question here, In no way for or against, what's the likelihood that you'll be off to Colorado for a bit of recreational cheech and chong herbage? I should point out here that with a family and a vaguely responsible job I don't partake , though I was a student in days of yore.

Never have, No intention to "Partake".

Although I have had some 'interesting' encounters with "Mary".

I never liked that particular drug. The fuzzy headed feeling was unpleasant to me, generated a more growly mood. Reverse of what it's supposed to do.
Guess I'm a reaver.

Well pretty much as I expected us being a law abiding responsible lot of fellows. I was just a bit gob smacked to see on the news that the land that produced prohibition and the war on drugs etcetera etcetera had states that now legaly sell the marigiwanna sensimelia Mary Jane stuff. Gives a whole new meaning too the phrase "three strikes and your out ...........of your head!"

A few states have legalized MEDICAL MJ. Alaska is the only one I'm aware of that allows for recreational use - and they've got a ton of regulations that go with that.

The odd part - it is still violating federal laws to have.

Well according to the bbc world news Colorado has as of jan 1st made it legal for recreational use as well as medical! Apparently Washington state is going the same way later this year as well.

I have a medical condition that makes drugs and drinking totally useless. For some reason my body shunts toxins through me so they have little or not effect. I dislocated my elbow skateboarding and the doctors gave me 2 shots of morphine. It did nothing but give me a headache. They actually had to check their batch to make sure it was okay. After that my doctor ran a bunch of tests and called it a bio chemical resistance to toxins or something like that. That same condition for some reason makes me react very badly to anti biotics. Not quite allergic but I get a lot of the side effects and quite severely too. God help me if I ever need an operation as putting me under will be like balancing my on the edge between dead and alive.

No but I do heal marginally faster than others. Only took 6 weeks instead of 8-10 when I snapped my collar bone in half. My doc just said: huh. I really hate it when they do that. Huh like cool? Or huh like I'm gonna die?! :p
