Tks, Demonherald, I\'ll keep that recipe in mind for next time, once I get some inks.

@Product, I don\'t care much for nmm myself and I\'m sure I could do it if I tried :p
But I would rather improve my metallics than do nmm which would not really fit my style.

Anyway, I finished the last touchups this morning, and the whole thing is in the sealing process now ( sounds important.) and I should post him tonight or tomorrow:D

Hi Again Y\'all

I\'ve changed the title of the thread so I will now post all my WIPs here...

Starting with my Fey Enchantress, another bretonian for FB\'s army.
The lady sits on a non-white unicorn, something I frankly never seen, just taught the white got in the way of the feelling I wanted for this mini, I feel white is so limitating...
I\'m trying to improve my feathering right now, as well as having more consistancy with my highlight position ( Without going directionnal)
Skin on horse is mostly done, mane is basecoated.

Please don\'tmind the pin coming out of it\'s rearend, it will all be taken care of :duh:

I\'m also having problems shooting this one, withiout flash comes much too yellow, and with flash the glazes are much too apparent..
Got any tips for that?

Indeed, Its a nice fig, lots of detail on the hairs and cool decorum.

After this tough week, I really take comfort in my painting times:D

The horse is just about done, exept a few details, I\'ll now start working on the lady, next step: some improvisation on mild see-through

wow, that looks friggin great! im digging everything - nice smooth work on the horse, good colors solid. the pics are great wip pics too - nice and close. my one tip.....the pearls could use some darklining.

Hi Y\'all!

While I borrowed a camera to shoot the black coach, I also took time to shoot a few WIPs :D

Firstly, Here is the next commision I got running late :p
I taught this would be a good occasion to improve my woodwork, since I had little success on the coach, so here is my wood trio:

I plan on working on this one for a while and make him a complex banner and a display base, I will surely come back on this one for advices.

Didn\'t paint so much in the last few days, but here\'s a quick update anyway.

Let\'s start with the first half of the base work, greenery and a few other bitz will be added later:

Still working on the body, head and other details are done, started a bit on the hairy parts, enough to see where it\'s going.
Glad I could take decent pics this time :D

Anybody has any good words for this poor unnoticed hippogrif ?

Did the hairy pieces, some fixing on skin and cloth.
I think I am done with this part and I will start on the wings tomorrow.

Yeah, finnaly someone deigned comment on him, thanks.
following comments in another forum I retook the pics under the light tent, and edited them as I would for a final submission. I did bump up brightness and contrast a bit, not to \"digitaly enhance\" them but for the closest to actual look. I dont toy with color balance yet, but I think green would be more present, in the hairy bits particularly, the backdrop is actually a strong green.
Hope these pics are actually easier to judge.

looks good though. vivid. i think the tan skin could use more contrast.
