Hi Y'all.
Really happy to be posting today, as everytime I get to present a finished piece.
Nothing really exiting to say about this one, exept I still love painting and wish I could do it more consistently.
I reckon it's not my best piece, not my worst either, I wanted to get a feel of how rusty I was before embarking on long painting journeys ;)

Before you mention, I know the scroll bit is a bit flaky, I got frustrated at the bit, my plan to create fiery simbols did'nt work at all, I would have been better of filling the carvings and freehanding them... could not be bothered re sculpting an almost finished mini :\

He is also standing atop mount Gah... The only place where the wind blows in both direction at once.
Left and right is so hard...

That aside, I'm always happy to hear what you think of my stuff so, fire away!

I too wish the photo's were lighter and bigger, it's hard to see enogh to comment other than he is looking righteously cool.

really cool mini as said and a nice base, although something inside me says "turn the guy around". photo could been better but i know how hard it is...

The pics in the submission link are a lot bigger, photobucket always resizes them, I don't understand why and how to avoid that.
I think the mini itself is a bit on the dark side (Mwahaha!)... seriously tho, I might still have some work to do at finding a right S balance, tried not to over expose him.

Skelly, thanks man, I don't understand the 'turn the guy around' thing tho :p


Edit: Oh I get it, it felt odd making it face this side, but I wanted to give this a try. It's meant to be looking over the cliff. Since I imprinted the bottom in the putty it was too late to change my mind, even after I stuck the grass in the wrong direction lol

Got any leads as to what could be done to improve the pics? Maybe I lost track how to make good pictures :\

I'll send you a photo of my setup tonight. It isn't the worlds best but it is cheap to make and makes decent pictures, even with an Iphone.

Cool setup, I have to figure how to make room to have a permanent photo place; as of now I occupy all of the room that's available to me and have to transform my workdesk into a photo studio everytime I want to take pictures.
