greenstuff + heat resistance

hi guys! i\'m making a green at the moment and have done all the bulking out in greenstuff. my query is this.........i am planning to do all the next layers in fimo (armour weapons and stuff) so this rmature is going to get baked. now some parts (like the face) will have their final layer made out of greenstuff and i am concerned if the gs will survive multiple bakes at 130 *C or start to melt/ deteriorate.

kneadatite is said to withstand tempatures of up to 162.77 degrees celsius. so it might be ok. you might want to do a tes ball of gs and find out.

Sorted ;).

This is a very good question Stuart and the answers coming back are very interesting so far.
Always nice to have a question that helps us to learn something new.

Grrrrr you\'re lucky Dr got there first !! ;)

And no probleme. The people at creafigs do this all the time. You just need to be carful not to put the GS right to the heat source or it\'ll turn brown :p

i was about to ask this very question! i am doing a bust and fimo may be better than gs for some of the texture and bulking out. the only trouble is that i have claydium modelling clay underneath (like das). any ideas? it was the very basic shape so it doen\'t really matter if it disintegrates as the gs should hold
