Grey Knight - Ghostly Knight

Hi Folks,

I've decided that I want my Grey Knight force to be led by Grand Master Mordrak and his ghostly knights. Here's my first member of the squad (work in progress) but I would like to know what I need to do to make it look more ghostly? Here's a couple of WIP shots and any advice would be great. Cheers.

I'd be tempted to angle the feet so that the toes are pointing down & stick a clear plastic rod up their bums to get them floating Any posing opportunity to lessen the sense of weight that comes from them being chunky lumps of armour is good. Otherwise a bit of OSL on the ground will help. Perhaps some simple branches from something like the WHFB Dryads box, growing out of the ground but have them pass through a foot or leg to give a hint as to etherealness. If you can manage one with a small exhaust trail going into his chest and an intact missiley bullet emerging from his back? Or a laser beam?

Here's an update. I've worked on the second and started the third Ghostly Knights. Am I on the right track?

the blending looks good a little more contrast though bit darker in the nooks n crannies

They do look really cool. Great idea! I would agree, make a couple floating a bit to add sense as a whole that they are ethereal/ghostly, but I think the colors you have going on are really good.
