Grey Knight Terminators WIP

Hi Fellow Painters

This is my first WIP log on the most ambitious project i\'ve ever undertaken. I\'d like these Grey Knights to be the sickest Terminators any has ever seen.

With that said i\'ll be happy with all and any feedback to help me accomlish this project

I\'ve 12 Rogue trader Termi\'s and 12 new ones. I\'ve swapped arms to give them a unique look.

The colour Scheme i\'ve chosen is that of Vector Prime from the transformers as i love the way the purple and turqoise and silver blend to give them a sweet look.

For a detailed View please click on \"all sizes\" above the pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/imfpeny/sets/72157600988350221/

P.S retarded question but how do i include pics in the post ?

Simple way for me, if you are even anywhere near as retarded as me, save them into photobook.com, and that has a think which gives you three link choices, and the bottom one of those does it.

Dont ask me what that is, I just know its the bottom one :D

Nice terminators too.

In the words of my commander in chief, \"Mission Accomplished\". Oh, and I meant the other definition of \"sick\".

IMHO, those colors don\'t go together in the way you have used them. I also think they aren\'t characteristic of the GK army. I\'ve seen them used together before (purple power weapons with blue eyes) and it seemed to be okay, but having oddly colored panels of armour makes them stick out and look funny to me.

Got to agree here. A single, analagous color choice throughout would work better with the metallics than the veritable riot of color you have going.

same, don\'t like the colour choices... Also, some shading on the metal would make them look alot better...

Get a red colour, instead of the pink... would work better :)

You need to work on thinning your paints and tidying up pre-priming. There are a quite few of your figures which are showing molding threads still left on them.

As to the colour choices, sorry but for me they are not working. I\'m not sure if it\'s because there is no highlighting on the Colour panels or if its a problem with the colours and the metals not looking right together.
The illustration you\'ve used is showing a figure in Comic Book clarity with more subtle shadows, while the 28mm figures need exaggerated highlight contrasts in order to look \"right\" due to the scale constraints with light reflection.
