Grey Knights or maybe red?

Hi
I\'m going to start on the Daemon Hunters but seeing the huge display they have in Games World Nottingham, the colour scheme isn\'t that impressive.

I was thinking of painting mine with a base coat of dark red and highlighted with blood red.

Does anyone know of any good examples of Grey knights in different colour schemes other than Grey or silver/armour?

:):)

Technically the armour is supposed to be silver with gold or black with gold I believe.

The bottom line is that you can use whatever colour you fancy... if you fight a campaign on a desert world - why run around all spangly and visible?

Just make up a background story, that they are a special unit created for X, Y & Z and then paint them pink - you know you want to!

Well, there is John Blanche\'s GK terminator in the codex which is painted red. If you do a search of grey knights or grey knight terminators, or even grandmaster in the image galleries there are a few that are different.

@Squidders. They\'re fearless (or is that stupid?) so they don\'t hide. they make themselves big targets. Mind you, in the rules their armour does actually have a sort of camouflage called the aegis so I suppose it doesn\'t matter what colour they are. I\'m rambling now so I\'ll shut up. lol

I\'m not bothered by titles or how they were designed to be painted. Just only what colour scheme suits them. After all if I\'m going to spend hours on painting them I might as well look great. But man cheers Imperialcheesemarine, those examples are amazing. I\'m definately going to paint them like that...Well as close as I can at my skill level ha, ha

Way back in the early 90\'s, long before the froggyhead pattern armour I painted mine grey
