This is part of a commission work I\'m working on. This was a fun mini to do... probably my favourite Griffin sculpt. What do you think?

Oh, and expect to see some more Griffins here in the near future...

Nice colors, very nice look overall in fact. However, IMO the hilt of the swords lacks some more higlites or shades. Especially in the rear view. The pants look too dark, or the tunic too light (left leg in second view), well anyway the transition between the two colors looks a bit strange to me... I like the blade, the base as well. Oh, last thing, the face could use eyebrows, and the eyes look a bit big. .

Well, a nice job, but not quite my favourite piece of yours...

I think the picture doesn\'t do it justice..

Two things though. The lightreflection in the right eye is a bit big. And the gold NMM need more contrast. I really like the beige colour and the subtle freehand.

Nice paint job did the vote thing. Sorry to sound like we dont like the mini cause I do but the bottom rhs of the cloak the transition from the cloak to theedge looks a bit messy. Love the mini and the color selection.

Very nice work - especially the face! Great colours and smooth blending. Maybe the only suggestion would be to add a tad more highlighting to the sword blade and to the hilt.

Can\'t wait to see the rest of the boys!

Fanatastic work. The NMM could use some work imo. It seems to be lacking the strong contrasts that it needs.

really good, the blending is so smooth, I love it! The grey colour is really nice, so is the cream inner of the red/brown tunic. The NMM silver looks better than the gold - I think the gold is just missing that final \'sparkle\' with pure white. Mybe some more definition between the segments of the red sword handle, especially at the back - but maybe this is the photo.

Excellent work. I think the color selection works very well. The freehand is very clean and precise. The only thing that I have any trouble with is the face. I think it might be the width of the line below the eyes. Maybe if that were a little thinner or just a bit lighter. Still, it has a great expression and you brought it out.

Cheers everyone!!

The photos are not the greatest and the gold has more contrast to it in real life. The highlights go up to pure white. I have been a little bit moderate with the shading, though, and I suppose this is why it looks flater in the photos. But I didn\'t have the energy to spend any more time on the photography bits, since I\'ve got a heap of more Griffins to finish. I took some photos of a few more minis yesterday, but I haven\'t had the time to see how they came out.

Superb as usual! I particularly like the alternating gray layers of clothing and how that contrasts with the warm colors in the rest of his outfit.
