Yeah. I think someone is having a laugh. The bidder bid multiple times to see what my reserve was. Thats the only thing i can think of. In the retraction he says that the \'quantity is not valid\' in spanish. Not sure what the point is but thats life for you. No skin off my nose I thought it was strange and i certainly wasn\'t expecting it to go that high so fast anyways.

Why do i get the feeling someones behind me with a very sharp dagger.

I\'m sure i will have other bidders....unless everyones out to get me erm.....am i being a little naive here but do people really lower themselves to using such tactics? I don\'t see the point??? Sad if its true.

yep, it\'s simular to shill bidding.
if you can, make a note of the users id.
if it happens again with that id let ebay know.

mistakes can happen, but multiple bids by the same person and then retracting them all once your reserve was met was dirty man, plain and dirty.

you hear me mr bidder, your a dirty, dirty bidder and desrve poking with a pointy dirty stick lol

LOL Thats just f%*&^@ up. I\'ve just had a little read about all the little crafty things users do to spend there time.....sad. Since the user hasn\'t bid again with another amount and Bid Retractions (Past 6 months): 10
Looks like this is, infact a classic time waster... I learn things everyday.

*edited: what i don\'t get about all this business is that i would of told the user what the reserve is if he/she would of asked me. Instead, they have to go and mess around and have ebay investigate an invalid retraction....oh yes :innocent:

I think some people are silly... all those retraction is a stupid game more than interest on pieces...
However your pieces are marvellous and i hope they reach a very great amount of $$$....

That really does suck about the bid retraction, something should be done by Ebay about it.

It also makes me laugh that people bother to bid at say £20 when an item has a reserve on it, as the minimum reserve an item can be listed at is £50!
