After searching around for ideas for this years GD i decided to work on an orc. i\'ve never done orcs before and Grimgor seemed like a neat model to start with.
The gw mini:
I was basically going to paint him by his basic color scheme but perhaps include some NMM or lighting effects where necessary. I\'m still working with ideas for the model.
Unpainted:
Things started to get a bit messy he fell over to the side during the undercoating proccess causing his axe-wielding hand to break at the joint. Oh noes! Perhaps i shall pin it.
You might notice a couple of tiny paint chips from the impact, but they can easily be touched up by hand.
Back to the hobby table...
Undercoated:
i was hoping to go for a nice scenic base included with this model, i always find the base brightens out the whole feature itself.
something similar to this:
more to come at the end of the week as i have school.
