GS and stripping! (paint that is...)

Say, if you want to strip the paint of a mini (which you totally messed up!:( ) but it has GS features sculpted on it. Can you do this without damaging the GS? Or will the GS dissolve or something alike...?

Thanks,

Tim.

It\'s stripped Ok for me using Dettol. (Pinesol)
However, I don\'t know about Acetone\'s action on GS. Try it on a piece of scrap first.

Okay so aceton is a no go! I\'ll see what the Dettol (Pinesol) is in Dutch, as it doesn\'t say anything to me right now...

Thanks guys!:)

Ive used oven cleaner and it hasnt destroyed the GS. It works for both plastics and metals. It will make the plastics go soft but they reharden after the stripper has been washed of. BTW Ebbon thats what I first thought when I saw this thread.
