hey guys and gals

here is the minotaur that i had been working on over in the wip area. I entered it at salute on saturday and was really lucky to get gold in the Fantasy monster category. i hope you all like the mini and here is a link if anyone is kind enough to vote http://www.coolminiornot.com/276591

Uh, I don't think there was much luck involved in you winning. I think your skills played a large part in that. :glasses-cool:

Great paintjob and congratz on the gold.

I really like the metallics on the weapons.
Also, I can appreciate the work involved in creating the transition in the flesh tones, but what I really like on the flesh is the mid-ares where you get both the natural leathery colour as well as nice shadings of purple. Very nice indeed.

The paint skills are simply fantastic, really breath taking.

I'm just not sure about that color transition thing....it's just very odd.

But, that's just a subjective thing on my part. It's definitely a winning paint job!!

Yeah - I figured the purple was going to be part of some OSL. But whatever, it works. And it's awesome.

Never kick a minotaur in the nuts. The subsequent bruising is extensive and will drive them into a rage.
