Was an extremely fun movie.

Anyone else see it yet? I was pleasantly surprised at how genuinely funny and enjoyable it was.

I loved it!

It was just as fun, entertaining, pretty and amazing as i had hoped.

As soon as the first piece of the soundtrack started as Star Lord crossed the first planet, i knew it would be an amazing film.

I remember a line from a review of Buffy back when that was on telly. "Better than it needs to be". Applies to Guardians. All we needed was a bit of space action, we got that, with extra quality given to characterisation and dialogue that elevates it to something splendiferous.

I am continually amazed at how Marvel is able to produce quality films from material that doesn't seem like it should translate well to the big screen.

And at the same time, they somehow manage to ruin Venom's big screen incarnation.

I saw it last weekend and both the missus and I really enjoyed it. It was a great fun film and a visual treat, not just that the CGI was good, flawless even, but also the design work of the spaceships and the Guardian world in general was top notch. Definitely looking forward for a sequal, fingers crossed Marvel pull another super film out of the bag.

It's a great movie indeed. Good action scences, fast pace with good actors creating belivable and enjoyable characters that you could sympatize with. The dialogue was also funny. One of the best ones yet.

I loved it, very funny, decent plot, great story, likeable characters...what more could you ask for?
