as far as mixing with the current range the foundations do well, however because the new paints are slighly muted and neutral in tone they tend to dirty some of the more richer colours, ace if you want things \"grity and real\" as the saying goes:)

Well, to be fair, it\'s not exactly yellow. It\'s more of a yellow ochre. And that\'s less of a problem when it comes to opacity. And the red is a bit \'greyish\'

That said I had a quick go with them and I do like them.

Well bugger me with a feather duster (actually, don\'t bother...). GW actually did something right for once! :D

Unfortunately they\'ve countered this with some more price hikes on certain blister packs. Every silver lining and all that....

I\'ll definitely be getting me a box of those now mind :)

I\'m left wondering if perhaps these are a forerunner to a renevation of the entire range (It has been a while after all given how often GW redo things), maybe in light of the new P3 paints which seem to claim similar results (smooth and pigment rich). It\'d be nice considering the great reviews they seem to be recieving.

In any case think I may pick some up when they go on sale individually just to have a looksee myself as well.

The vast majority of people that have tried these are giving them the thumbs up. That includes Golden Demon winners and the concensus seems to be that these are just as useful for the \'expert\' as the beginner, its all about right tool for the right job.

I can\'t wait to get hold of them.

If you enjoy painting toes and fingernails this is the paint for you!

Seems ok though, at least you can water them down to a buttery smooth texture.

If yer trying to paint an army this will speed up the process I would think.

However after one week my reds are blue and my Yellows are Green Hmmmmm....

I wonder how they tested the life span of these paints and what changes may occur over time?

Don\'t want my shot at inmortality done in by bad chemistry ya know.

I Want my stuff to appear on the Antiques Road show 2200.

I think I need some photographic evidence here, that doesn\'t sound very good at all and I have no idea how something like that could make it into production if it changed colors.

Perhaps:

A: It was a joke.
B: The paints weren\'t stored properly.
C: This is about the paints before they were applied to a model.
D: GW screwed up big-time.

Tried them at Conflict SW this Sunday

Pigmentation is better than standard GW and they dilute further than GW before drop out.

Seem a lot thicker, but go on nicely and the yellow is excellent. not sure the browns are so different. despite what\'s been said I actually think they dry a little quicker.

They mix nicely with normal GW but I noticed that when you do the dilution cut off point drops quite a bit.

Think they are superb for beginners and big improvement overall on Gw paint. i have pre-ordered my set (Also like some of the new colours)

There isn\'t a Graveyard Earth in the new paint range, by any chance, is there? They sound great and hopefully one of these colors will be suitable for making Graveyard Earth cover remotely well ;)

There is a very similar colour to graveyard earth. The cool thing about the paints is they didn\'t make existing colours with more pigment, they made 18 new colours.

As far as bonehead above with the chango paints they have been in the shop for a month now and been painted on a numerous models of people testing them out and there is nothing different over time.

Good to hear there\'s one for Graveyard. And yes, I think one of the best ideas they\'ve had in a long time (as far as the hobby supplies are concerned) was to make the shades similar to but a bit darker than the existing colors in the range. Perfect basecoat material there.
