GW Giant, I need some help

Lately in my games I\'ve been using a giant and I really like him. Have since he picked up a Elector count that once killed Grimgore and shoved him down his pants. So in my tournament army I\'m planting on having TWO of them!

But there are some problems...

So far I\'ve been proxying a friend\'s bone giant. So today I got two giant boxes from GW and I just opened one after getting home and tried to put it together. . . and the I saw screwups you have to see to believe.

-First the Torso. I glued the two halves together and I can\'t see how they\'re staying glued (somehow they are though) because I can see a gap around the whole join. The bottom is the worst because the back part of the bottom looks like it\'s dented somehow and the two edges don\'t even touch each other! I\'m guessing I\'ll have to break it open so I can fix that bottom part.

-Second the Legs. Not only do they not fit together wthout leaving a gap wider than the grand canyon but the top of the two curve downward. The bottom of the torso\'s, even the less bent front part curves upward.

-The arms and heads. The arms don\'t seem so bad, but then again right now I\'m fixating on the torso and legs. However ther heads are a different story. Each has a little socket under the jaw and the torso has a little knob on the neck. They don\'t fit. I\'m ready to file off the knob and just glue the head straight on.

I want to use these guys. I want to use these guys in tourneys. But at least one of them looks like it was sculpted by a drunken Homer Simpson. So if anybody has put one of these together please buzz me.

Got to concurr with Wolf Fang.
It\'s a long time since I assembled one for a friend and there wasn\'t to much filling required in that version.
But it did require a lot of pinning just to make sure it remained stable for play.
I\'d suggest pinning and then using Milliput for the first fill and Green stuff for the finishing & detail level of filling.

after pinning, get some super glue accelerator! pin the legs together first and to the base (put some more pinning in the feet) dry fit all the pinned parts first and then glue the torso + head to the legs, then the arms separately. use the superglu to start closing the joins and zap it with the accelerator, then go for the greenstuff.

i guess its a GW ploy to get us buying green stuff, but then we all become super sculptors and start doing our own stuff when we realise we can do it better!
