GW gravel/sand

gday, Anyone who has the Space wolf codex for 40k look at it now, is that the gravel GW sells or is that completely different because thats the way i want my bases to be but the sand i have is too fine and the gravel i have is to big but if thats the GW stuff ill buy that

I\'ve used different coursness of balasts like you can get at a trainstore, but they don\'t have the right texture. I broke down and bought a bag of GW sand, and to be honest.. I\'m really happy with it. I\'m keeping my eyes peeled but I\'m not sure where else you can get modeling sand like this (with a nice variety of courseness)..

I\'m sure it\'s available, however. The pictures of their models do use the sand, and I have some recent models in my galleries that show the sand also:
