GW Hero Basing Kit...from the same line as Urban Basing Kit

I recently purchased the Urban basing kit. While its value has been hotly debated before, I was a fan of it.
On another Forum there was mention of a hero basing kit for fantasy. Anyone know anything about it?

Seriously the only thing worth the money was the resin ruins the rest you could get from your own gatden or DIY store for alot less.

I looked at it. Seriously, how many skulls do your heroes need to be standing on? (Apparently many, many skulls.)

I\'m reminided of a line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail... the criteria one fellow uses to identify that Arthur must be a king.

FOOT SOLDIER 1:
Who\'s that, then?
FOOT SOLDIER 2:
I dunno. Must be a hero/lord.
FOOT SOLDIER 1:
Why?
FOOT SOLDIER 2:
He\'s standing on a huge pile of skulls.

(alternate ending)
FOOT SOLDIER 2:
He\'s hasn\'t been drybrushed.

I actually wanted the Urban Basing Kit.

As soon as I heard about it I went right to the website and tried to order it. I was planning on getting several other things too.

It was almost immediately sold out. What kind of shit is that? They have a product they advertise, then they make it a \'limited edition\' so consumers can\'t buy it?

That is completly stupid, from a marketing perspective, and from a business perspective.

So, in the end I ordered NOTHING from them. How did that help?

Sounds like the company I work for .

my customer \"I ordered this from your specials list the same day I got the list but never recieved anything\"

my office \"oh we only had 6 of those in stock\"

me \"wtf are you stupid?\"

Of course it could be that GW actually thought this would be a flop.

I\'m willing to concede that fact. Kind of a test market.

But, since they disappearred as fast as they could make them, wouldn\'t it make sense to make more? Supply AND Demand.

Or are they operating on the you buy only what we want you to buy theory?

Also, they pulled the same garbage with the Ogre Kingdoms box army as well. Made way too few of them and they sold out immediately.

Try a gardening store or ground cover place.

Yeah, that\'s the first thing I did. No Luck.

Go to a tiling store. You can buy a few slate tiles and they will do you and all your mates for the rest of your lives. Failing that if you live in europe alot of the old buildings have slate roofs so just look around them and you\'ll find slate everywhere or you can nick a roof tile whose gunna know.
